He first appears as one of the customers in line for a Wiggly and actively partakes in gossiping about Tom and Becky's past relationship alongside the other shoppers. When Linda Monroe tells Becky Barnes that she wants her to not get a doll and die he is seen nodding. Later on, Barry Swift becomes irritated by the hold up of the line due to the protests of Sherman and Linda, prompting him to step out of the line and offer $500 for the doll. This causes a bidding war to break out in the store. After Curt's Shopper grabs a doll, a riot breaks out in Toy Zone and the wider mall, in which Barry Swift partakes. In the midst of the riot, he finds Tom and Becky talking over Ethan's body. He stabs Tom and steals the doll from Becky; however, he loses it offstage.
