Bob Metzger is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He features in Perky's Buds as well as being mentioned in The Witch in the Web. He is the father of Louie, Carl and Lars Metzger and is one of The Hatchetmen. Bob is played by Dylan Saunders.

The Witch in the Web[]
Bob and his ancestors are referenced by Hannah Foster in The Witch in the Web. She tells Miss Holloway about how the tree-people like Casey were planted by the Hatchetmen because they had a touch of the gift.
Perky's Buds[]
Bob appears in Perky's Buds to confront Emma about how she cut down a lot of trees for her farm. He talks about how her grandfather promised to protect the trees when he bought the land and threatens to do something to her if she doesn't close her farm and leave.
Later, Bob and his sons bury Emma and Ziggs intending to make them the first in a new crop of tree-people. He talks about how he and The Hatchetmen are committed to turning people who were born with the gift into tree-people to trap their magic and how in cutting down the trees Emma caused the magic to escape and supposedly infect the flesh of more children. As the Metzgers are about to bury Emma and Ziggs and destroy the weed they are killed by the nighthawks.
