Carlos David Valdes (born April 20, 1989) is an Colombian-American actor, singer, musician, voice actor and performer. He is best known for his role as Cisco Ramon or Vibe in the CW Arrowverse. He worked on A Very Potter Musical, Me and My Dick and Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier.
Early Life and Education[]
Carlos was born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Miami, Florida from the age of 5, then moved again to Marietta, Georgia at the age of 12. He attended Pebblebrook High School.
Carlos then went on to study at the University of Michigan where he met other members of Team StarKid.
Work[]
In 2014, Carlos made his television debut in the American series Arrow, before appearing in the spin-off series, The Flash, as a series regular in the role of Francisco "Cisco" Ramón, an engineering genius. He later went on to reprise his role in a vast number of Arrowverse projects including: Vixen, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and Freedom Fighters: The Ray. He has since appeared as Paul Magallanes in the Starz miniseries Gaslit and starred as Miguel on the Hulu Series Up Here.
Carlos has also appeared in a number of theatrical productions. He served as a Swing in the Second National Tour of Jersey Boys and appeared as Pavli in the 2015 production of ZORBA! at Encores! New York City Center. Carlos made his Broadway debut as Andrej in Once.
Carlos has also appeared as Dr. Henry Edwards in the Tin Can Brothers webseries Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye.
StarKid Productions[]
Carlos met the members of StarKid while collaborating in UoM's university's student-run theatre organization, Basement Arts. He served as the bassist for A Very Potter Musical. He then went on to work with A.J. Holmes to write the music and lyrics for Me and My Dick. Carlos later featured on the credits pop-cover of A Thousand and One Nights for the YouTube release of Twisted: The Untold Story of a Royal Vizier. Carlos returned to the group to feature in StarKid Homecoming.
