Obnoxious Teen (also known as Cineplex Teen to fans) is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He features in Black Friday, Watcher World, Jane's A Car and Honey Queen and is played by Joey Richter. He works as a ticket-seller at the Lakeside Mall's Cineplex, as a rollercoaster operator at Watcher World, as a waiter at Pizza Pete's and as a volunteer stagehand at the Hatchetfield Honey Festival.

Black Friday[]
Obnoxious Teen is seen working at the Lakeside Mall's Cineplex when Hannah and Ethan attempt to buy tickets to see Santa Claus Is Goin' To High School. Upon discovering the price of the tickets, Ethan attempts to Haggle the teen but he refuses causing Ethan to threaten him. However, he is saved by the intervention of the Security Guard.
Watcher World[]
Obnoxious Teen is seen working as a rollercoaster operator. He calls for single riders which Alice accepts and Bill pushes past the line to hop in the car Alice is getting into. Obnoxious Teen attempts to stop him but quickly gives up.
Later on when the rollercoaster stops the Obnoxious Teen speaks over a speaker requesting that they stay in their seats until the maintenance guy comes to get them. However, when Bill attempts to get out he once against speaks asking him to stay in his seat but is ignored.
Jane's A Car[]
Obnoxious Teen is seen working as a waiter at the restaurant Pizza Pete's. He mistakes Becky Barnes for Tim's mom and then takes the order from Tom while Tim and Becky play Zombie House.
Honey Queen[]
Obnoxious Teen is Professor Hidgens's stagehand for the Honey Queen Pageant, and is first seen handing him a notecard, on which is a random question for the pageant contestants to answer. Zoey Chambers approaches him to ask for an easy question, but he refuses causing Zoey to threaten him and he agrees. Afterwards she approaches him again and asks him to write the hardest question he can think of for Linda Monroe. He once again agrees.
At the end of the competition, Obnoxious Teen hands Hidgens the envelope with the winner of the pageant.

Trivia[]
- The Cineplex Teen was not originally in Black Friday. Pete Spankoffski was intended to be the one selling the tickets at the Cineplex, but when Robert was cast as Ethan Green, it made it impossible for him to realistically be Pete in the same scene. As a result, the Cineplex Teen was added instead, although both are referred to in the scripts as Obnoxious Teen.
- The Cineplex Teen originally featured in What If Tomorrow Comes. This can be seen in both digital tickets, and it can be presumed that this was the case for the whole of Black Friday's run. However, in the YouTube release, Joey is instead playing TGWDLM character Ted. When asked about this on Twitter, Nick Lang explained that during the run of Black Friday, he didn't have the time to get Ted's costume out of storage, but he did for the extra filming they did for the YouTube version, and so he decided to swap the Cineplex Teen out for Ted as a little Easter Egg.
- The Cineplex Teen was initially meant to be the character of Richie Lipschitz however due to Joey Richter being cast as Pete Spankoffski it was impossible for the two to be in the same scene and so Jon Matteson was cast.
