The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals[]
Deb first appears alongside Alice, Smoke Club Girl and Danny at a meeting of the Smoke Club. Danny and the Smoke Club Girl attempt to peer pressure Alice into smoking weed, however, Alice declines. The two teens show disdain against this, saying that "you're either in the smoke club or you're out". Deb steps in and her and Alice leave the club. As they are leaving, they witness the meteor falling in Hatchetfield. Deb was due to attend a performance of Mamma Mia alongside Alice and Bill that evening, however, the show is cancelled due to the meteor hitting the Starlight Theater.
At some point during the apotheosis, Deb is killed and infected, becoming a member of The Hive. Following an argument with her father that morning, Alice goes to seek out Deb. It is likely that Alice finds her at Hatchetfield High and discovers that Deb is infected, causing her to barricade herself in the choir room and call her father. At some point between this call and Paul and Bill arriving at Hatchetfield High, Alice is killed and infected, presumably by Deb and the Hatchetfield Bee.
Once Bill and Paul arrive, the three infected teens sing Not Your Seed before Alice shoots and kills Bill. They attempt to kill Paul as well, first shooting at him and then deciding on tearing him limb from limb, before the military arrives and the three infected flee.
Watcher World[]
During the events of Watcher World, it is revealed that Deb is throwing a party at her parents' lake house, but Alice is unable to attend as she is going to Watcher World with her father. One of the guests attending this party is Ziggy, a person Deb formerly had a crush on, much to Alice's dismay as she believes Deb will hook up with Ziggy at the party.
Alice believes that attending the party will be her last chance to see Deb before they both leave for college, as Deb will be visiting Amsterdam with her grandmother before attending early orientation at her art school.
After retrieving her phone from Madam Iris, Alice scrolls through images on Instagram that supposedly show Deb and Ziggs slowly getting closer and presumably hooking up at the party. It is unknown whether these images were real or simply created by Blinky as a way of manipulating Alice.
Killer Track[]
Alice and Deb are attending the Hatchetfield Honey Festival festival together while Alice is home from New York for the summer. Deb offers her earbud to Alice telling her she has to listen to the song as it's "killer". This prompt Duke Keane to interrupt taking Deb's phone. Deb and Alice are annoyed, with Deb declaring that Duke must be a False Lashes hater. Miss Holloway gives Deb her phone back and apologizes to the two girls and they walk off.
