Ezekiel is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. He is the elected leader of the Nighthawk Flock. He appears in Perky's Buds and is played by Joey Richter.

Perky's Buds[]
Ezekiel first appears while Ziggs is pruning the plants and puffing a joint. he asks Ziggs to pass him the joint, much to their confusion, and they blow some smoke in his face before returning to their work.
Later, after Emma and Ziggs are captured by the Metzgers, Ezekiel and the other nighthawks attack them in order to protect the weed. They kill the family and knock out Emma and Ziggs. The next day, Emma and Ziggs awaken to find the birds all over the kitchen. Ezekiel introduces himself to the duo and explains how the weed made the birds telepathic. He insists that Emma and Ziggs begin farming immediately to replenish the weed the Hatchetmen destroyed and the two oblige. Later, when Ziggs attempts to return to the house to use the toilet Ezekiel stops them and insists that they simply do it where they are.
After a hard day farming, Emma and Ziggs return to the house. They try to reason with the birds saying that they're hungry and that they need to go into town to get some food but the birds refuse and feed them like baby birds instead. Ezekiel then banishes the humans to the barn to sleep and the nighthawks sit and watch a nature documentary. Ezekiel is scandalised when he sees a bird doing a mating dance, declaring it porn.
The next day, the nighthawks are puzzled to find a new human standing in the field and investigate them. When the stranger refuses to answer Ezekiel's questions the birds begin to question his leadership and is forced to attack the human himself. He then discovers it's a scarecrow and that while they were investigating, Emma and Ziggs escaped in the car.
The nighthawks follow them and overwhelm the car, capturing Ziggs. While Emma tries to run, she is soon captured as well. When Emma wakes up she finds that the nighthawks powers have grown and that they can now use their powers to possess Ziggs. The birds make Ziggs attack Emma but she manages to stop them by setting fire to the hay in the barn and burning the weed crops. The nighthawks become so stoned by the smoke that they stop pursuing the humans. Ezekiel is annoyed by this and his anger is expressed through a pitchfork flying through the air and impaling Issac, causing Ezekiel to realise his power has once again grown and that he's now telekinetic.
Ezekiel chases Emma and Ziggs, using his mind to wield an arsenal of guns. He tries to shoot the duo but is tricked by Ziggs' prototype Perky's Buds logo and shoots that instead. While he's distracted, Emma hits the bird out the window and into the woodchipper manned by Ziggs.
Skills[]
- Telepathy- After eating the weed Ezekiel and the other nighthawks gained the ability to communicate telepathically. They can communicate intelligently both with each other and humans.
- Possession- The weed later gave Ezekiel and the nighthawks the ability to possess and control humans.
- Telekinesis- Ezekiel also gained the ability of telekinesis. He was able to wield guns using his mind.

Emma Perkins[]

Emma Perkins is Ezekiel's weed supplier and enemy. The weed grown by Emma in the soil of Witchwood Forest allowed Ezekiel and his fellow nighthawks to gain psychic abilities. However, Ezekiel only views Emma as a means to get weed and views her much like farm equipment and becomes annoyed when she refuses to bend to his will.
Ziggs[]

Ziggs is Ezekiel's weed supplier and enemy. Much like Emma, Ezekiel only views Ziggs as a means to getting weed and views them much like farm equipment, to the point of even possessing them to use them as such.
Issac[]
Ezekiel and Issac in Perky's Buds
Issac is Ezekiel's fellow nighthawk. Initially Ezekiel and Issac appeared as allies and friends, sharing their puzzlement over humans. However, Ezekiel's superior intellect to compared to the other nighthawks led to him becoming annoyed at Issac, eventually resulting in him murdering Issac while discovering his new telekinetic powers.
The Nighthawks[]
Ezekiel and the Nighthawk flock
The Nighthawks are Ezekiel's flock. They are his allies and he was elected as their leader after the birds gained superior intellect from eating Emma's weed. Despite them being allies, Ezekiel becomes annoyed with his flock and views himself as superior to them.
The Metzger Family[]
The Metzger Family are Ezekiel's enemies. After they attempt to destroy Emma's weed, Ezekiel and the nighthawks kill the family to protect it.
