Jae Hughes (born April 10, 1988) is a New York based actor, model, and singer. They are best known for their work with American musical theatre company Team Starkid.
Work[]
Jae has appeared in a wide range of theatrical productions over a 17+ year career, challenging the gender binary in their community. They most notably appeared as Alison in Fun Home (Long Island Regional Premiere), Berger in Hair, Jesus in Godspell, Cat in the Hat in Seussical, Caesar in Julius Caesar, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream and Saturninus in Titus Andronicus.
StarKid Productions[]
Jae was announced as a cast member of Nightmare Time 2 via an Instagram tag by Nick Lang as part of the Nightmare Time 2 letter puzzle. They made their StarKid debut in the story Honey Queen and featured as a number of characters throughout the livestream series, most notably Ziggs and Kale.

Personal Life[]
Jae identifies as non-binary and enjoys breaking down barriers and challenging gender norms in their work. They currently reside in New York and are a huge fan of the New York Rangers hockey team.
