Janaya Mahealani Jones (born June 11) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Elsa in Frozen- Live at the Hyperion, as well as appearing as Belle in Team Starkid's VHS Christmas Carol Live!.
Work[]
Janaya has featured in a number of theatrical productions. They appeared as Elsa in Disney's Frozen - Live at the Hyperion, as well as playing Arista in the Cabrillo Music Theatre's production of The Little Mermaid and Kala in Tarzan at Landis Performing Arts Center at Riverside Community College. Janaya also appeared as Stan and Henry in Stephen King's "IT": A Musical Parody at the Rockwell Table and Stage, for which she was nominated for an Ovation Award for Featured Actress in a Musical.
Janaya has also appeared as Mme. Aubert in Titanic and Felicia in Memphis at The Moonlight Amphitheatre, as Marty in Grease at The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center, and Hunnie in Jelly's Last Jam at Pasadena Playhouse. Janaya also featured in numerous productions at The Horton Grand Theatre, such as playing Cordelia Ragsdale and Doris Walker in Miracle on 34th Street and Woman 3 in Pump Up the Volume. Janaya has also worked with Moonlight Stage Productions, appearing in their production of Beautiful: The Carol King Musical and The Prince of Egypt. Janaya also features as Mary Katharine in Matt Dahan's radio-musical series Pulp Musicals.
Janaya released her debut single Pure Love on June 1, 2025.
Starkid Productions[]
Janaya made their StarKid debut as Belle in VHS Christmas Carol Live!, replacing Britney Coleman, who played the role in the original production. Janaya later reprised her role as Belle as well as debuting the role of Della in VHS Christmas Carols.
Janaya also appeared in The StarKid Jangle Ball Holiday Tour, where she sang songs originally sung by other StarKid actors, including "Stutter" from A Very Potter Sequel.
