Karen Chasity is a character in the Hatchetfield Universe. She is the mother of Grace Chasity. Karen features in Nerdy Prudes Must Die and is mentioned in Abstinence Camp. She is played by Kim Whalen.

Grace mentions her mother when she tells Gabe that she said that the anti forest fire mascot Smokey the Bear was created to tempt kids into bestiality.
Nerdy Prudes Must Die[]
Karen first appears having dinner with her daughter and her husband as they discuss Grace's day at school. Upon learning that Max Jägerman offered to carry Grace's books, Karen is horrified but is calmed by her husband. After Grace becomes flustered at the dinner table, Karen offers to run her a bath.
A few weeks later, Karen awakens Grace after she has a nightmare and warns her that she won't be early to school if she doesn't get up. Karen and Grace watch as Mark gets a phone call informing him that Waylon Hall has been sold. She tells Grace of this, greatly alarming her daughter.
Later, Karen appears among other Hatchetfield citizens seeking answers from Mayor Solomon Lauter about the murders in Hatchetfield. Karen then gets swept into the frenzy and accuses others of murdering the students. Karen is also accused herself of being the murderer, as well as a cannibal, to which she is greatly offended by. In the pro-shot of the show, however, Charles Coven is accused instead of her.
Personality and Traits[]
Much like her daughter, Karen is a person with very extreme religious beliefs. She's also extremely prudish and views things that would generally be considered normal, such as carrying someone's books, as being sexual. Alongside this, she has very extreme beliefs which she imposes on her daughter.

Grace Chasity[]
Grace Chasity is Karen's daughter. Grace is very close to her mother and gets a lot of her religious beliefs from her. Karen and her husband Mark can be seen to be part of the reason for Grace's extreme religious beliefs due to their own reactions to actions that could be seen as entirely normal such as Karen being horrified at Max offering to carry Grace's books. Grace has a lot of respect for her mother and actively believes and repeats many of the things Karen says such as how Karen believes Smokey the Bear was created by liberals to tempt kids into bestiality.
Mark Chasity[]
Mark Chasity is Karen's husband. The two share their very extreme religious beliefs and actively impose these beliefs on their daughter. Mark and Karen's relationship is generally very loving with Mark often playfully teasing his wife. Although the 'no moan household' rule may imply that intimacy isn't part of their marriage anymore.
