Kimberly Michelle "Kim" Whalen (born February 27) is an American, actress, singer and performer. She is best known for her work with American musical theatre company Team StarKid. She is married to fellow StarKid Curt Mega.
Early Life and Education[]
Kim was born and grew up in Dallas, Texas. Her first musical was Oklahoma. While performing in Light in the Piazza in Dallas, Kim met her husband Curt Mega. Kim began her studies at the acclaimed Quad C Theatre program.
Work[]
Kim made her professional acting debut in the video short Then Hereafter in 2004. However, she really gained her passion for film after appearing as Mrs. Brown in the Oscar nominated 2011 film The Tree of Life.
Kim has since appeared in numerous TV series including playing the role of Glamour Kitty in Austin and Ally, Ava Winthrop in Being Mary Jane and Kim in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
She has also appeared in many short films such as Privacy and Drone. She also regularly appears in films and projects produced by her husband, Curt Mega, such as Tinder Lovin'.
Kim's theatre credits include playing Louisa in the 50th anniversary year of The Fantasticks at the Snapple Theatre Center on Broadway. She also appeared in both the Shitty Broadway Cabaret shows. Kim is due to appear as Romona Trousers in Shipwrecked Comedy's upcoming series Headless: A Sleepy Hollow Story. Kim also features as The Traveler in Matt Dahan's radio musical series Pulp Musicals.
StarKid Productions[]
Kim made her Starkid debut as Becky Barnes in Black Friday, the second musical in the Hatchetfield Series.
Kim has since appeared in the first season of Nightmare Time where she featured in two episodes. She reprised her role of Becky Barnes and also debuted characters such as Miss Holloway, Sylvia and Jenny. Kim also appeared in Nerdy Prudes Must Die playing characters such as Karen Chasity and Nibbly amongst others. Kim reprised her role of Miss Mulberry as well as debuting the role of Meg in Workin' Boys. Kim also appeared in Cinderella's Castle as The Fairy Queen of Sweet Dreams.
Kim also joined StarKid on The StarKid Jangle Ball Holiday Tour.

Personal Life[]
Kim currently lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband Curt Mega. The couple have two cats named Linus and Lucy. Kim also enjoys gardening which she posts updates about on her Instagram.
