Max Kaufman is a former lighting designer for Team StarKid. He served most prominently as lighting designer for Me and My Dick.
Early Life and Education[]
Max attended the University of North Carolina school of arts where he graduated with a HS Arts Diploma in Theatre Arts. He later went on to attend the University of Michigan where he received a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts. He also got a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management from Boston University.[1]
Work[]
Max works as a production and tour manager as well as an audio and lighting engineer and a musician. Max has worked in numerous theatrical capacities, from Production, Tour and Company Management, to Directing, Stage Management, and Technical Direction. Max is a multi-instrumentalist and has produced both local and touring Theatrical, Dance, and Live Music events all over North America. He currently works as a production manager and associate producer at North Carolina Theatre.[1]
