History[]

Much of Miss Holloway's past remains shrouded in mystery. Miss Holloway previously worked with three other girls, possibly with similar powers and problems as Hannah Foster. However, Miss Holloway was unable to save these girls from their fate, though said fate is left unspecified. She's also implied to have been a pop-star during the 1980's, but the world forgot about her when she took on a new identity.

Miss Holloway has a history with Wilbur Cross. The two appear to have fought each other in every one of the Hatchetfield timelines, with either one winning "half the time." Whenever Wilbur wins, he takes the denim jacket from Miss Holloway's body, which implies that she is dead in the Black Friday timeline. The exact cause of their fighting is unknown.

Miss Holloway has made a deal with some unknown entity, which grants her immortality. It is nearly impossible for Miss Holloway to die, but in return, any time she tells someone about her past, they are made to forget immediately. Whenever Miss Holloway assumes a new identity, everyone forgets what she looked like and only remembers small parts of their time together.

The Witch In The Web[]

Miss Holloway first appears when receiving a call from Duke Keane. She is called in to actively work with Hannah Foster on her nightmares as a result of Willabella Muckwab residing in her head. When questioned about Nightmare Time by Miss Holloway, Hannah reveals that Nightmare Time started when Webby disappeared. The use of the name Webby actively startles Miss Holloway, who appears concerned to hear Hannah talk about her. In a private conversation between Miss Holloway and Duke, Duke reveals to Miss Holloway that Lex, Hannah's sister, and her boyfriend, Ethan, were arrested for selling Pamela's painkillers and were sent to jail. This causes Miss Holloway to theorize that it was losing Lex that caused Hannah to lose Webby.

Later, Miss Holloway promises to help Hannah get the witch out of her mind. She reveals she is the owner of the Black Book, much to Hannah's distress. However, Miss Holloway calms her and the two use the book to allow Miss Holloway to access Hannah's Nightmare Time. The two walk through the forest of tree-people, who all warn Hannah not to continue. Despite this, the two continue on deeper into the wood, where Miss Holloway notices that the attire of the tree-people begins to get older as they get deeper, especially pointing out Casey, a tree-girl who asks Miss Holloway for an autograph. As the witch's hut comes into sight, the tree-people spring to violent life and scream, which scares Hannah, and she slips out of Miss Holloway's grasp. Hannah gets stuck in the memory of Willabella Muckwab's and to save her, Miss Holloway pulls Hannah into her own Nightmare Time.

Miss Holloway's Nightmare Time is revealed to be the Starlight Theatre. In it is a three-girl creature made of the three girls Miss Holloway couldn't save welded together. The two begin to walk towards the glowing door that will give them access back to Hannah's mind. After Hannah accidentally resurrects Wilbur Cross, it is revealed that she killed him and that the two are enemies. In order to allow Hannah to escape, Miss Holloway enters a fight with Wilbur. He possesses the sleeping Pamela, using her to choke Miss Holloway's real body. However, Hannah is able to stop this with a burst of psychic energy which expels Miss Holloway from her own nightmare. After this, Duke and Miss Holloway are left to wait as Hannah fights against the witch in her mind.

When Hannah wakes, Miss Holloway and Duke are waiting for her. Miss Holloway promises to get Lex and Ethan out of prison and is about to leave. However, before she does, she gives Hannah a Hatchetfield Nighthawks baseball cap, claiming she always gives something to the children she helps, to remind them of the warriors they've become. She then drives away through the Witch Wood

Daddy[]

After collecting the ashes of his dog from the Hatchetfield Animal Hospital, Frank Pricely visits Miss Holloway at Miss Retro's. The two sit together and Frank talks about how Toy Zone is failing.

He also tells her about how his parents didn't approve of him wanting to open a toy store and how he used his inheritance from them to open Toy Zone.

Killer Track[]

Duke recruits Miss Holloway to help him save Rose from the Killer Track. Duke takes Rose to Miss Retro's just as it's closing and there they meet Miss Holloway. Rose is reluctant to believe that Miss Holloway can help her but after Miss Holloway uses her powers to control Rose's mind she agrees to let her help. Using the Black Book, Miss Holloway siphons some of the energy of Tinky and puts herself in Rose's body in the past listening to the Killer Track instead of her.

After awakening from the ritual, Miss Holloway, Duke and Rose clear the diner of anything that could make noise, hoping to save Miss Holloway's life. However, Duke and Rose stay with her and she hears the track coming from their voice boxes. Miss Holloway is tortured by the music and tries to stop the track by attacking Duke but stops herself before she hurts him. Eventually the track peaks and Miss Holloway dies.

After reading Miss Holloway's letter, Duke panics and goes to the morgue at St. Damien's Hospital where he witnesses Miss Holloway return from the dead.

Duke and Miss Holloway return to Miss Retro's, where Duke demands answers from Holloway, and she agrees to give them. However, the instant Miss Holloway finishes talking, Duke finds himself unable to remember a single thing she said. Duke is confused and Miss Holloway explains that it's a part of the deal she made. No one she tells about her past will retain any memory of it. Duke and Miss Holloway then begin to discuss the Killer Track. After being killed by it, Miss Holloway gained an insight into the track, and realized it would be striking somewhere it could kill as many people as possible next. She realizes that can only mean it's going to target the Hatchetfield Honey Festival.

A few days later, Miss Holloway and Duke go to the Honey Festival hoping to stop the track. Duke stops Alice and Deb from listening to some music, but realizes that Deb was only showing her girlfriend a song by the False Lashes. Miss Holloway then apologizes to the girls and the two walk away.

After they are unable to prevent Kale from playing the Killer Track over the festival's sound system, Miss Holloway realizes she needs find a new way to stop it. Accompanied by Needy Beast, she plays a song from her past: Run Away With Me. When it concludes, the audience's memories of both songs are taken from them. It's as if they never heard the track at all. This buys Duke and Rose enough time to stop Kale and the Killer Track.

Later that night, Holloway and Duke are on a paddle-boat on the lake watching the fireworks. Duke questions Miss Holloway about how she's going to explain her miraculous recovery. It's at this point she tells him she simply won't have to. Soon enough, no one will remember Miss Holloway, including Duke. She then kisses him and says goodbye.

A few months later, Duke is at Hatchetfield High to try and convince the school to cover one of his clients' medical bills. While he's there, Miss Holloway pulls up into the parking lot. She introduces herself to Duke as Miss Holiday, the new school guidance counselor and, says goodbye as she goes inside.
