Moff Jeffrey Tarkin is a character from Ani: A Parody played by Joe Walker. He is based on the character Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin from Star Wars.
Tarkin is the Moff in charge of the Death Star. He is serious and socially awkward. He has a crush on a stormtrooper named Emily.
When Ani initially leaves for Tatooine he wants to bring him back to the Death Star, but he realises that Ani will be happier if he is allowed to podrace and agrees to help him. Tarkin later uses the pick-up lines that Ani gave him to woo Emily and they get together.
Trivia[]
- Emily and Tarkin's romance is a direct parody of Anakin and Padme's romance in the Star Wars Prequels. All the lines he uses are actual lines of dialogue from the prequels.
- When Emily says she always wanted to meet a Clone Wars survivor, Tarkin says that he is one. Tarkin did serve as an officer during the war.
- Starkid semi-predicted a love story between Tarkin and a stormtrooper, as a novel features a relationship between a stormtrooper and an officer who, while not named, fits Tarkin's description.
