Nighthawk 1 appears alongside the rest of the flock when Emma and Ziggs first meet the nighthawks the day after they attack the Metzger Family. He agrees with Ezekiel when he suggests that Emma can expand her farm into the Metzger's land to grow more weed. He later joins the rest of the flock in agreeing that Emma and Ziggs need to start work as they're losing daylight.
The next day after Emma and Ziggs create a scarecrow, Nighthawk 1 is one of the nighthawks that surrounds this new 'stranger' as he's questioned by Ezekiel. He remarks on how the stranger doesn't reply to the leader of the flock.
