Richard Campbell (born October 1) is an American actor, singer business analyst and performer based in Chicago. He is best known for his work with American musical theatre company Team StarKid.
Early Life and Education[]
Richard attended the University of Michigan in 2006. He graduated in 2011 with a BA in Political Science. He then did post-degree course at Western Michigan University in Computer Science.
Work[]
Outside of StarKid, Richard featured in Joe Moses' show The Joe Moses One-Man Showses. He has since gone on to work as a business analyst for a variety of companies including Kellogg.
StarKid Productions[]
Richard met the members of StarKid while collaborating in UoM's university's student-run theatre organization Basement Arts. In 2009, he featured as Neville Longbottom in A Very Potter Musical. The show sold out its four performances at UMich. A recorded version of the show that was posted on YouTube for family members to watch went viral. In response to the musicals popularity StarKid Productions was formed with Richard as one of it's founding members.
He then went on to reprise his role as Neville in both A Very Potter Sequel and A Very Potter Senior Year. He also featured as Rick and The Kid That Hates Joey in Me and My Dick. Richard also had a pre-recorded cameo as a Starship Ranger in Starship.
Richard returned to the group for both A Very StarKid Reunion and StarKid Homecoming.
