Tyler Brunsman (born July 11, 1988) is an American actor, singer, dancer and performer based in New York. He is best known for his work with American musical theatre company Team StarKid.
Early Life and Education[]
Tyler was born in Perrysburg, Ohio. He attended the University of Michigan.
Work[]
Tyler has featured as himself in a number of different productions. He featured the web series Potion Master's Corner alongside Joe Moses as well as featuring in The Joe Moses One-Man Showses. He also featured in the TV series Ariel & Zoey & Eli, Too.
Tyler has also featured in a number of theatrical productions. While at U-M he featured as Father in Ragtime, Hobo Bill / Vince / Ensemble in the world premiere of Gibson Fleck and Stuart Dalrymple in Bridgadon. He also appeared as Crow / Male Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz at the North Shore Music Theatre.
StarKid Productions[]
Tyler met the members of what is now StarKid while collaborating on plays through Basement Arts, the university's student-run theatre organization. In 2009, Tyler featured as Cedric Diggory and Cornelius Fudge in A Very Potter Musical. The show sold out its four performances at UMich. A recorded version of the show that was posted on YouTube for family members to watch went viral. In response to the musicals popularity StarKid Productions was formed with Tyler as one of it's founding members.
Tyler went on to appear as Lucius Malfoy in A Very Potter Sequel. He then reprised his roles as Cedric and Lucius as well as featuring as Minerva McGonagall in A Very Potter Senior Year.
Tyler then returned to the group to featured in A Very StarKid Reunion, StarKid Homecoming and Twisted in Concert at 54 Below.
