Witchwood Forest is a location in the Hatchetfield Universe. The forest features in The Hatchetfield Ape-Man, Watcher World, Jane's A Car, The Witch in the Web, Honey Queen, Perky's Buds, Abstinence Camp and Nerdy Prudes Must Die and was referenced in Black Friday.
Description[]
Located on Hatchetfield Island, the Witchwood was first planted in 1824 by the Hatchetmen who used the roots to entrap the soul of Willabella Muckwab. While they appear like normal trees, the trees of the Witchwood are made up of tree-people, people had had a touch of the gift but were planted by the Hatchetmen. The planting of tree-people in the wood resulted in the soil of the forest gaining magical properties which causes things that grow there to grow fast, big and different. The plants grown there can also give magical powers when consumed.
The forest is home to a large array of wildlife such as nighthawks, timberwolves and bears as well as a large number of urban legends such as Willabella Muckwab, the Muck-Witch, Lumber Axe, the Mad Woodsman and Wooly-foot, the Hatchetfield Ape-Man.
Located within Witchwood Forest are a large number of locations including Watcher World, Perky's Buds, Camp Idontwannabang and Hidgens' Manor. Many houses also border the forest such as Becky's Home and the Foster's Trailer.
